We're still the midst of recording our first full length record. So that's exciting. We're still trying to settle on a name for it. We've got a couple good candidates and then about 50 or 60 that are really, really bad. All of the drums and bass parts are finished. All of Alex's synth/organ/piano work is done with the exception of like, one or two miniscule things. All rhythm guitar tracks are done, but half of the lead tracks either need to be finished or at least retouched. All of Luke's vocals are done because...
LUEK IS IN LONDON!!
So while Luke is away, Russo and myself (Peter) are left to finish all our vocals and, along with Matt, make sure the album is mixed well, etc, etc. We played our last show until summertime at the National Underground in New York which was a verrrry interesting gig. Minus technical problems and a verrry heroic turnout, it was a decent farewell to a 2009 that had it's ups and downs for the band.
So, in the future, things Goodman Brown related to look out for.
1) The album
2) Numerous New York summer shows
3) Goodman Brown on mad college radio stations (thank you to Luke for making out the spreadsheet)
4) The possibility of another free show in the center of our lovely hometown of Scotch Plains, NJ
So that about raps it up. So yay new album, boo snow, and see you in the summer.
